    GT Cube

Am I the only person getting excited about GT Cube?

If its a 3D implimentation of GT Advance, we've got one hell of a game coming.

The choice of art direction is a little strange, cel shaded cars and real trackside, we shall see.

Looks like there will be at least eight cars jostling for position, and the sliding combos look entertaining, and to top it all it has a real licences, which "back in the day" would have been unheard of, especially on a Nintendo console.

I'm absolutely frothing at the bit for this.

Irritatingly, it's released in 2 days so it clashes with Initial D.

I might pick it up anyway as my Jap PS2 is still nowhere in sight.

More like they were paid more money than a minor deity for that review (and it's score). Happens a lot here. Very corrupt.

GTCube looks cool, but there are too many other games coming out over the next month that I am more interested in. The video for this looked a bit like Sega Rally 2, but on a normal race track.

              Very slidey.

As I said in a previous thread, Famitsu have lost any kind of kudos, kudos to which I gave them simply because they were a Japanese mag, now it's all gone.

                Oh and ninty, http://mto1.mto-power.com/release/

Why are there so many bloody people carriers in this game? I want a racing game, not a school run simulator.

                        According to the website:

Even a compact car and a familiar wagon appear a sports car at first. It is the lineup of selection broad from the car of yearning to the familiar car which a family drives.
                        So that resolves that.

Aparently there are 20 tracks, with 3 different time zones, Morning Afternoon Night, and variable weather.

Has anyone gotten this yet? I have been looking to get a racing game on the cube, and would love some impressions. It looks nice, but that's about all I know about it.

After seeing the movie - there seems to be wayyy too much sliding on this.

I'll wait for more reviews I think.

If you've played GT Advance, then you'll know what the game is about.

Arcade sliding. The only basis on reality it has is it's licenced cars.
