    What Will you get?

Just wondering what people are gonna get this gen. Curious to see what people here are planning on purchasing.

Will you get a Xbox 360?
    - Or do you have one?

    Will you get a PS3?

    Will you get a Wii?

    Will you get All 3?
    - Will you get 2? Which ones?

I'll definately be getting a Wii at launch, I may get a Xbox 360 in the next couple of years after the inevitable price drop and who knows maybe I'll have something that can do HD by then. Some of the games interest me including the upcoming Resident evil 4 plus it seems to be a really good system which doesnt seem far off PS3 capabilities if not the same.
The Wii sounds right for me, cheap and affordable with some fun games.
Plus it has the virtual console and gamecube compatibility. I didnt get all of the gems on Cube and/or finish them so I might get some games for it again.
If the Wii games are cheap enough I'm gonna get as many as I can at launch to get a nice variety and let me see what the system is capable of.
My 3 main wants are: Wario ware Smooth moves, Red Steel and Zelda TP.
I'm also hoping to get Wii sports and Sonic if they are availble at Launch.
Super mario galaxy and Super smash bros Brawl would be nice but they wont be availble till 2007.

I'm hoping the Wii is region free, if it is I wonder if this includes the Gamecube? Do you think they plan to make some sort of GBA Player for the Wii? Because some people may keep their cubes out if they play gameboy games on the TV often.

Ive already got an X360 but i'll deffo be getting a Wii at launch as well. The PS3 will have to wait at least a year after its release until i get one i reckon.

Probably only a Wii for me. At least until the premium 360 goes down to ?200. For ?200 you can't really say no.

It might as well be that I'll get them all. The Wii I'll get first since I always loved Nintendo and the Wii looks promising. While all of my hopes might crumble at least the first thing that made me want it was the Virtual Console in the first place. I'll get the PS3 because I always enjoyed the Playstation for its game library and for the must have Final Fantasy games, Ridge Racer, MGS and other cool titles but the price of it will make me wait for a while. I'll finally give into MS and the X360 for those XBox games I never played but want to now (Halo/2, Ninja Gaiden) and some very nice titles that'll be coming up like Halo 3 and Gears of War. The other reason for the HD machines is when I get a better HDTV I'll be able to enjoy it and experience it. So:

        Wii: Retro, exclusive, "oddity" factor
        PS3: exclusives, "mature" gaming
        X360: exculsives and interest factor

Assuming the same old region problems, no chipping and money not being an issue, (why should state-of-the-art videogaming be cheap anyway?):

I'll get a Wii first, probably US as my GC is US and has served me well. Wii will be good - no question - and hopefully a breath of fresh nair. It will also sit under my TV in my lounge, a first since being grown up and having my own room upstairs for playing games

Second will be a PS3, probably japanese because if I look at my current-gen games and had to pick between JP/US/UK-platform, Japanese-PS2 would win every time, (Wii still wins cos it's all new and wobbly ). I love GT, GT will be on PS3.

Third would then be a UK PS3 as I wouldn't want to miss out on UK stuff such as SingStar and in years to come, the 4-for-?20 GameStation type fun I've had with the PS2 recently.

I bought my Xbox to play Outrun 2, can't think of anything else that I couldn't live without. So, I will probably give Xbox360 a miss. I don't like playing laggy online games, (I don't go in for the "you hardly notice it at all" thinking, it leads to the "it doesn't crash all that often" mindset, which, as we all know, leads to World War 3), so Live isn't an attraction.

I'm only in a rush to buy Wii though, PS3 can wait. Before all of this fantasm though, I need to complete 10 or so games sitting on my shelves. So I better get a move on...

360 & DS are good enough for me, best of both worlds (still to be convinced that the Wii will be good for prolonged play). PS3 is a no-no unless they radically change the console & announce some interesting titles.

I always say I will never buy another console, but end up buying them all in the end lol.

Got a 360 and a Wii defo on release.

Not too sure about the PS3 on release day, will have to see how it looks over the next few months, and of course and the release list. Although its defo getting bought when MGS4 comes out.

I read the title as 'What Wii you get?'

                      Guess that answers mine then.

I'll end up having all three. The Wii has a Zelda game at launch, so of course i'll pick one up when it arrives. When the second-gen Xbox 360 titles arrive, i'll pick up an xbox 360 too.

The PS3 must become a lot cheaper for me to get one. After that i'll pick one up when there are some titles worth looking into.

I've got a 360 and I'm definetely getting a Wii and a PS3 on launch day. Yeah, the PS3's pricey, but it'll be worth it just for MGS4, VF5 and DMC4 alone.

All 3 for me too. Like a spoilt child I shall be. Most excited about wii. I just hope the wii-mote feel non gimmicky and that the games along with the controller have a lot of depth in terms of technique etc.

Got a 360, will get a Wii (even though I'm yet to be convinced), but the PS3 is too expensive for me really. Will pick one up when the price eventually drops or a real killer app is launched (other than MGS or DMC as I don't like past entrants in either of those two series).
