Under Defeat is probably worth more than a 6 though.

nice to see zettai scoring a 7, anyone know if this is gettin a english release? Its really difficult to play in jap, lol.

Bit disapointed with the score for kingdom hearts 2 though.

Would have to agree with the Under Defeat score. Didn't like the controls, why couldn't you use the analogue stick?

Because its a Naomi arcade game and the arcade game doesn't use an analogue stick.

Analogue control in a defined shmup would be completely nosensical addition.

Well good to see Dreamcast still getting interest from Edge. Under Defeat should have at least a 7.

Clearly they believe they underscored Oblivion last month.

There's lots of praise for it with a clear implication that the game is amazing with the benefit of hindsight. It's very similar to their comments after they reviewed PGR2 and gave it a low score.

Problem is i do not like the idea of "hindsight" when it comes to after the reviews.

If you put enought time into the playing a game then you should be able to come up with a firm decision.

It was like in gamespys overated games feature there were quite a few games they themselves overated.Trouble is i bought some of these games (not naming names dont want to cause any disagreements) and very soon i realsied many of these games were not as good as was said.


I do disagree with the under defeat score 6 implies just above average i think most people here who have played it would agree it is alot better then that

It sounds more to me like pandering to public opinion if a review ends up being wildly out of sync.

Does anyone still listen to reviews to make buying decisions? The likes of Edge are so incredibly slow with reviews I'll usually have already bought any game I'm interested long before they get their views aired.

If everyone listened to Edge, nobody would have games for there consoles. Once again, Edge give completely good games an average mark just to be different/gain attention. Wankers!

i liked the old style of reviewing games like in mean machines and famitsu of today where you have more than one opinion, and a scored is based of an accumilation of all scores.
