Two of the biggest fundamental mistakes Sony have made IMO. If the Japanese don't buy it they're uber-****ed.

Only if it's used in a derogatory fashion which it hasn't here otherwise it's just an abbreviation.

Never had much time for Sony though I owned and enjoyed both PS1 & PS2 and both had their share of crackers (The PS2 gave us GTA3 ffs) but Sony's time is up - they've been arrogant wanks since PS1 but the name carried them with PS2. For me, MS have earned their stripes and deserve victory this round - It'll only spur them to do even greater things with the next one.

I stand by my long held belief that this gen Nintendo will finally challenge for top honours.

I've said it numerous times here before so I thought I'd just cut and paste the following from a post I made in another forum.

Personally I believe the Wii will take a huge bite out of Sonys market share in Japan, possibly even overtaking it. In the States it will do very well to but not as well as in Japan. Unfortunately however, I can't see the Wii having much impact in Europe but I hope I'm wrong and people here respond to the console.

I agree with that completly I see each machine taking one region PS3 Europe, 360 US and Wii Japan I think they will all sell well and in the end the winner will be us gamers can't wait to get a Wii and a PS3.

Seriously though, wow, 88.4% of your actual Japanese Famitsu readers say it's too expensive and that the Wii will win the next generation. This can only be fantastic news for people who like playing fun, enjoyable, innovative games and not paying ?50-70 for the privilege of renting them. The only thing seemingly left to convince Famitsu readers of is that Final Fantasy is a load of crap and that there are superior, more fun RPGs out there.
