I'm not a big fan of Partners in Time. I'm currently 11 hours into it and it just feels like a by the numbers RPG that doesn't have the spark of either Superstar Saga or Paper Mario. If it wasn't for the Mario branding it would never have gotten the high ratings it has.

Well I'm an hour in now and I kind of agree with you. It does seem very "hand holding" but it's early days yet so I'll give it a chance.

Two things that I really do like though:

The battle system is far more involving than most RPGs so it gets a gold star fo that.

Secondly, the way mario and Luigi speak in that euro-gibberish is adorable. Very funny.

How do I choose three games when the DS is getting so much love from me at the moment. Going on playage time alone, mine would be...

1. Animal Crossing - I still keep playing this for at least 10 mins per day & now that it's June there's new fish & sharks to catch.
2. Super Princess Peach - I'm really loving every minute of this, so I'm going through it nice & slowly.
3. Polarium - A game that I've just returned to after buying Polarium Advance some time ago.

nice to see Polarium getting some support, i really really liked this game. The thing which holds it back is the way Challenge mode is always the same - i never feel like just playing it like i would with another puzzler - and its also rock solid, i'm still stuck i think its in the 700s, argh

I'm still waiting for the glut of turn based strategies that were promised. The Mage Knight Game has now been delayed till December and the Super robot Wars even longer. Oh dear!!
