    No, polygon wise the GC cannot match the PS2; which the GC compensates in many games with bump-mapping. There hasn't been any games on the GC to suggest it can to the extent of games like GranTurismo or ZOE2.

      30% increase in resolution ? at what expense ? massive texture drops, dropping of particle effects, bump mapping, blah blah - don't even try to hold it above the GC version.
