Look for the smily faces at the side... the better it looks, the higher it has been rated. There are some unbelievably brilliant pieces on there...

On the other hand depends what you expect. Most people in the remix scene want a lot more than just the original SID with better instruments and a drum loop...

Perhaps, but the ones I've heard either sound like heavy-handed wannabe Jarre abortions (not a good start) that owe more to nasty ITV documentary theme music or a reworked SID tunes with cheesy, over-used 4/4 dance beats (yeah, they're that hip).

I'll give it another look, though but I really have heard few SID remixes/remakes that have truly impressed me in any way.

If you don't like Jarre... then yeah sometimes you might find it hard as quite a lot of the remixers do list him as an influence/inspiration/good to listen to.

Okay... try these out and tell me what you think... I consider these to be some of the best out there, so if even they don't do anything for you... I don't know what to recommend
