Sounds interesting. I MAY be interested actually as I fancy a cheap trip somewhere Ryanair-stylee this summer as my travelling buddy is over in the States for a few months

Does being on NTSC-uk qualify for entry on the 'Media Only' day? If not, any idea of price?

I won't be there, as I'm getting ready to go to America-land -- but I was in Leipzig a couple of months ago for the football (not the WC - it was a friendly, LOK Leipzig v. FC United). Leipzig is a mint city, and I really enjoyed myself there. I recommend it! 8)

ps, the beer festival is in Oktober (that's why it's called the Oktober festen)

Uber-geek alert - I went to the symphony orchestra performance of game music a few years ago (they always open the GC with that). Got pictures taken with and stuff signed by Nobuo Uematsu, Yuzo Koshiro, Chris Huelsbeck etc... Only went for the concert and didn't go to the actual convention that time. Had a great time, but past few years, tickets have sold out way before I could get my hands on them... they're playing music from Shadow of Colossus... LIVE. Anyone who likes film and game music, but never heard it performed live should really do themselves a favour. It's fantastic.

That sounds awesome - Just seeing the behind the scenes vid for the Halo3 announcement where you saw them doing the music made the hairs on my neck stand on end !!!
