Watching those videos brings back those months of waiting and anticipation.

I'd never seen the rebirth video in full, that looked amazing and the music is pure gold.

That brings back some memories... I've sure I've got most or all of them on magazine DVDs somewhere. Raven Blade did indeed look cool, pity that never made it.

I think the GC has so much untapped graphic potential that the Wii might take advantage of. Rebirth looks stunning there!

Why oh why did they cancel Starcraft: Ghost? Looked superb and had plenty of gratuitous lady bum on show, which is always good.

The Gamecube version of Golden Sun enever made it out either...

Theres no way the Rebirth thing is running on Gamecube hardware, for a start, it has credits as if it were a short film, also it says copyright 2000 Nintendo, the hardware probably wasn't even finalised by then, let alone the unlikely event that internal developers managed to get more out of it than any developer ever would over the next 5 years.

I reckon it was an internal tech demo/CG movie (to show shareholders/board members), that showed what might be possible on future nintendo hardware, before the GC was fully conceived.

That first video alone made me go back and play a few Cube games I haven't touched for months: Wave Race, Pikmin and Luigis' Mansion are still great now. The water effects on Wave Race are still incredible.

The video also made me want to play Starfox Adventures but then I remembered that it was a bit chuff and that was why I got rid of it. Except for the shop owner. I smile everytime I think his immortal phrase: "You pay this much" hehehe.

Wasnt Pilotwings meant to be released on the GC?
I'm sure SEGA were going to be developing it but it never appeared.
