That would be quite interesting considering this machine doesn't take balls.....

Still I'm single and I guess I'll try anything once

Man... You should have picked up the DS version and saved yourself some pennies.

Heh I did think about it but there were so many version around on PSP, PS2 and DS I wasn't sure what to get!

I figured it would be nice to have the proper machine too

I reckon I might have to get the DS version though as that looks to be the SE version of the machine so for another ?20 or so I can have both versions!

Friction, did you figure how to stop the JSR machine going mental when you hit the jackpot? I could never get the hang of resetting mine, ended up doing it through trial and error.

No mate, I think the law of Pachislo machines is they go mental when you get jackpot and that's that!

I have found though playing this FOTNS one on a higher difficulty has slowed the payout rate in terms of small bonuses and that, but I seem to be getting more out of the machine in terms of the big bonuses and making it go crazy which is good!

I need to speed up the wheels on my JSR one! Everyone keeps winning!

With my Hokuto No Ken one, since setting the diffuculty to 4 I found I get less small payouts, but in the grand scheme of things more goes on - bonus comes up more, and it makes the machine a lot more exciting to play.

That said you do still get your lulls where nothing happens, it just when things go right, they really go right!

If I remember correctly my JSR one is set to 2 or 3 so I think I will bump that up to 4 and see what happens!

Right I'll try and explain as best I can -

Open the door of the machine

Flick the power switch so the machine is off (bottom left side on the trasnformer thing)

Turn the key on the transformer thing so instead of being at 12 o clock as it were, it's now at 3 (it will only turn one way, and one click so you can't get this wrong)

                    Turn the machine back on

Now on the inside of the door towards the outer edge there is a button - if you look at the front of the door on the screen you will see a number 1-6 I think.

This current number is the level it is set to.

Press the button to cycle to desired level

When happy press the lever that usually starts the wheels spinning once, then turn the key back to the 12 position.

If done correctly you will hear a click and the machine will have changed level.

Close door and away you go.

Hope that made sense and works, let me know if you have any probs and I will dig out my instructions (going from memory you see )
