    September? November is ridiculous.

    Potentially, we're looking at...

    [Wii] Wii Launch
    [PS3] PS3 Launch
    [360] Gears of War
    [360] Call of Duty 3
    [PS2] Guitar Hero 2
    [PS2] Final Fantasy XII
    [360] Splinter Cell
    [NDS] Elite Beat Agents

... and that's only the releases I can think of at the top of my head.

Anyone else remember a time when there's been far, far too much out in the space of a month?

Just, like... Don't buy EVERYTHING! By time you've finished 2 games the other 2 will be half price etc etc...

After a truly dire gaming summer, we've got some great things to look foward to.

Trouble is its always pretty bad during the summer (more so if your just a pal gamer)

It was mentioned by the people who made god of war that they were angry the release date was put back purely so it was closer to christmas

It would have been ready for a summer release and they believed a big name game released then would have little competition

US release of Final Fantasy 3 on the DS is November as well I believe.

I'll be getting a Wii and about 5 games, and gears of war. Might have to wait until christmas for some new games for the Wii!

Still, Wii is my priority in 2006.

Super Paper Mario must be out over here around then too - October 9th in the States.

Wii is my focus though, i think there's currently about 13 games pencilled for the launch window that i'm interested in :S Am off to NYC in November/December though so might save on shipping costs

Very true, I can't think of a worse summer as this one.

However I always use that as an oppertunity to pick up cheap games I missed. I've discovered Hitman: Blood money and it's an absloutly storming game and picked up San Andreas again to delve into it's world.

The summers good because I dont play much games during this period anyway and if I want to play something I can look at what I've missed or catch up on some games I havent played yet.

Currently not got a planned PAL Release

There are about 10 Wii launch games I want, though I'll only pick up 2. Then a few 360 gubbins as well. Very very expensive, but I'll have to jus leave most the stuff til later on.

Yes, last year was just as bad iirc in November. And the November before wasn't much better lol.

I think October and November will be expensive. Imagine all the games to buy for PS2, XBOX 360 and Wii and PS3. (Oww !) You could spend a grand easily (if you buying a PS3 as well).
