5 mins after that demo it needed a fan down as CELL melted.
Too many FPS's being output at 1080p, IT CANT HANDLE IT!!!!!

Is that why the PS3 is expensive do I get a little man with a fan

Wasn't sure where to post this as there's loads of Ridge Racer news threads and I'm not sure that it deserves it's thread at the moment due to there not being any solid info.

Namco Bandai have just registered Ridge Racer\Accelerated as a new game title in Japan according to Siliconera. It could of course be anything from an arcade game to a console release or even something for the increasingly popular iPhone.

It's pure guesswork but wild guess is some sort of HD remake of one of the original's due to the name which'll hopefully end up getting a PSN/XBLA release.

It'd be nice but I'd be a lot happier if they'd registered the name Rave Racer\Accelerated.

I use external view on RR7 and the PSP ones, I think for these titles it became a viable option.

I'm more disturbed by those using the analog stick or triggers.

Ridge 6 & 7 was so nice to drift around, I used the stick for the first in the series.

If you're using a stick on Type 4 or Racers however, then you're mad!
