I see people as low as 17th are getting consoles - I assume mine was held back until today for Zelda! Which is fine.

Hmm the status of my order has changed, it was N/A for all 3, but now says "Credit Check Status: Ok, Date of shipment status: Pending"

      COME ON IMPORT MADNESS!

I hate to turn this into a blog but I have to say, Play-Asia are a very awkward company to deal with. Their delay in shipping means I needed to change the delivery address but they aren't having any of it. It kills me that this is my only solid chance of getting a Wii before Christmas.

Just going to sit it out and wait for the UK launch now I think!
Got a reply back from PA... They cancelled my order without a problem.

Although they claimed they have NOT charged anyone yet. I can only assume that they perhaps put a hold on the money and that's why the amount is down as a pending charge on my CC. I'll keep an eye on it and make sure it disappears.

I think my Wii is currently on a hairyplane as it left Wilmington Hub at 09:30 GMT.

I've told the missus that she can't leave the house for the next 2 days

If they haven't shipped, cancel your order. Loads of the things on Ebay at non rip-off prices.

Aye, I think I will cancel.

Does anyone know if I can use a 60W (W=Watt) stepdown-converter for Nintendo Wii? As I will get my Nintendo Wii in just a few hours, it would be nice to know if 60W is enough. I ordered a 500W stepdown-converter from Play-Asia as well, but that won't arrived until tomorrow (FedEx somehow couldn't find my house yesterday O_o).

Also, I have a stepdown-converter that says 105VAC, but what is VAC? I've read on Play-Asia that VAC is the same as Watt, so if it's 105VAC, it's 105W. In that case, if 60W isn't enough, is 105VAC/W enough?

Oh, and I got a mail from DVDBoxOffice yesterday with comfirmation that they had shipped out The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Excite Truck and one Wii Remoe. Still waiting for the Wii Classic Controller, though.

Look at the prices component cables are going for on eBay...!

Ive got an old stwpdown that was used for my old import PS1. Its 240 volts input/120 volts output, will that be ok?

Depends on its power rating (removed my post from above because I want to check my info is correct) - a minimum 100 Watt stepdown is required for the Wii.

It will be OK. Trust us. Whatever stepdown works with other consoles will work with the Wii.
