now that we have received an official weight for the console from Nintendo.

If Nintendo is giving out info to e-tailers for the weight for the whole console package then maybe we are one step closer to VG+ getting it onto the site for preorder!

Maybe VG+ are being vigilant and they don't want to mess people around by putting up information and then change prices etc. I Hope that the info they put up is final. At least we all know where we stand then re cost of total package etc.

There's this rumor that EB Games/Gamestop is will held a meeting on available stocks and marketing solutions for both Wii and PS3 this Friday...probably it's because Nintendo and Sony will finalize stocks for the whole North America and VG+ will be opening preorders then. Just a wild guess, I don't think they'll wait more to open preorders.

I know everyone has their preference but i'm happy with DVD Box Office. US Wii plus Zelda and delivery via DHL has only set me back $414 Canadian which is about ?200 (less the import duty) but that's standard.

Website updated regularly and quick responses to emails.

Obviously though, this all pales into insignificance if I don't get my Wii at launch

We are just awaiting confirmation on qty of systems and pricing on some of the games (mainly first party stuff) and accessories. Hopefully we should know next week sometime and the section will be up.

even if they do have confirmed stock the chances of getting a console from launch will be low, I expect they have 1000's of people waiting to pre-order so you're gonna have to be there quick, real quick me thinks

Yup, Its annoying it taken this long though, when lots of other places are taking orders. I'm beginning to worry theres some kind of problem where they aren't getting alot of stock or aren't allowed to import a la the PSP fiasco with Lik Sang etc. Would be a total gutter as most of us have held out for VG+ knowing their good service.

So I do really hope they let us know when and where the pro-orders will be going up, so those of us who care about it the most will be able to get in there on the dot and get our orders in securing one of the launch batches.
