It depends on supply, i was in new york a day after the 360 launch, and there was zero chance of getting one until after christmas i was told by just about everyone , it just depends on how many units nintendo put out, plus it wont be in demand as much the 360 was in my thoughts.Comment

I'm really lucky myself because I'll be able to get my american console in the UK completely duty and import tax free.
Before you jump down my throat saying thats impossible. My cousin works for the American Airforce at Milden hall. The base is actually classed as American soil with American electronic goods shops and everything else full of american things, so as soon as they become available at the airbase I'll get him to sned me one up ASAP completely duty and import tax free. Yay me!! Can't wait now though and it was even better whenb he was based in Japan.Comment
