That really depends on what Team Bondi class as next gen consoles as it was originally announced for "next-generation consoles" by them in 2005.

Team Bondi then announced that it would be a PS3 exclusive with the statement of "the project is wholly funded by SCEA. We have a long-term exclusive arrangement with SCEA."

It does seem unlikely that they would have been referring to the PSP or DS when they mention next-generation consoles.

Basically says that it's probably still a year away and might (Suggested by someone that apparently has no direct connection to the game) be headed to both 360 and PS3, after initially being announced only for the PS3.

It was rumoured to be multi platform quite some time back due to Phil Harrison ****ing them over last year.

You have to wonder exactly what the problem was between Phil Harrison and McNamara causing McNamara to leave Sony, setting up Team Bondi and then refusing to be aligned with Harrison's SCEE as all other PAL regional companies are and instead aligning Bondi with SCEA.

Have they actually showed anything of the game yet apart from the pre-rendered teaser as I've not heard anything about it since the beginning of the year when the news of the bust up with Harrison broke?

I do really like the idea of a film noir game though!

Unfortunately not, I wish I had and there was another one hidden away somewhere but all there they've released is the trailer that was posted yesterday when this was bumped and the teaser that I mentioned and managed to find after posting it.

That's the whole set, the trailer (which doesn't show anything) and the teaser for the trailer (which shows even less).

It's a long way off so we may not get anything new for ages yet. The atmosphere of the videos really makes me want it but the fact that they are saying nothing about it apart from it's really expensive and that it's produced by the same people as The Getaway and they used to boast about how expensive The Getaway was is making me more than a little cautious.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt at the moment though and hope that PS3 & 360 users end up with a really good game at the end!

I really dont know why they bothered showing this so early if its (still) years off, which it seems like it still is.

Two years ago exactly that teaser appeared, gets on my tits when devs do that, just shut up until its almost finished.

I'd completely forgotten about this, I'm sure I'm not the only one either. Rockstar have said the first trailer will be released 5pm on Thursday which is over four years after the teaser.

Maybe I'm just being negative if they end up showing something that makes me want the game I'd be happily surprised.

I thought that confirmed already? Certainly it's been known (ok speculated, rather) for over a year that Sony got The Agent exclusively in return for the costs contributed to L.A. Noire which is about 2.5 years late.
