Constant unnpaid overtime, working weekends for entire seasons...

The Team Bondi management deserve a lifelong blacklist (which these revelations could earn).

I know they had an obscenely high staff turnover (even by videogame industry standards) , I'm amazed they didn't have entire departments walking out. Reading those "we're in the final stretch" emails is just painful.

The truth of it's near the bottom of that page Sketcz linked to.

"Once 'it's fine because everyone is doing it' starts to become a little more unfashionable, things may change."

I've always said a similar thing and until it happens nothing will change. There are still too many in the industry that will take the **** being dished out and in doing so undermine the very thing they moan about.

There are a lot less people taking it now than there used to be, that's for sure.

The sheer number of 'old timers' moving into indie is indicative of it, but of course that means the new arrivals don't know they shouldn't be pushed as hard as some companies make them.

              True enough.

Because of that, I can't see an end to it in the near to medium future. Acceptable working practices is a root and branch proceedure and personally speaking, the people at the root are invariably the least willing to practice it.

The danger is that that kind of studio suddenly finds that the only people it has are people with under 2 years XP.

And a studio like that dies.

The industry is so small, and now with the net there's nowhere to hide, so the days of bull****ting juniors into killing themselves are numbered.

I'm not really helping here, but it made me laugh!

I only did it for this competition run by Play UK. Sufficed to say, I did not win a free copy of LA Noire.

Does anyone know if Reefer Madness is the final piece of DLC, or will there be more in the future?

Finished it last night. Bit of a disappointing swansong.

Yep, it is meant to be the final piece. It's not really the final piece though, because it fits into the timeline before the Arson DLC which is technically the "swansong" as DLC goes.

Probably the last DLC, unless Rockstar takes it upon itself to get more out there...

Team Bondi is effectively closed down and it's assest/IP sold off. Nothing major to sell though as Rockstar already owns LA Noire

Yeah I heard about that, all the staff's stories about the crap that rockstar put them through.

Way I heard it Rockstar weren't to blame for this one, for once.

The company taking Team Bondi over already have a lot of ex-Bondi people there who left cause they hated working for Bondi.

                              Bet they're really happy.

"Complete" editions are coming. Presumably for less than the price of buying it all separately. If this is the way publishers are going to go, you might as well wait for a while for these versions with the DLC on disk to turn up - it's a single player experience so you don't need to jump in at the start for MP action.
