The Boostball Guardian from Metroid Prime 2 comes to mind I could never beat it until I got the Prime Trilogy then for some reason I absolutely destroyed it and the game. Also Wizpig second time is a boss I still can't beat.

i totally love the game, but im a total noob at it Rainbow Islands, Monster Island i just cant do it, had to get a younger friend to get me past it one time , oh and Gradius 5.
