Some speculation about the next game has it that:

-It remains very focused on eSports and streaming
-Has a modernised art style
-New characters are in the mix
-It's considered a reboot of the franchise and will be multi format using crossplay and rollback
-Single Player mode and Quest Mode included

Would be great if they can build on the quest mode from VF4 Evo. Still brilliant now 20 years on.
