    Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (NSW, Steam, PS4, PS5) (2025)

Announced in today's Nintendo Direct Indie World/Partner Showcase Double Bill.

I suspect that Tobal and Asura will be delighted with this!

Sign me up, I really thought they were going to make us wait a couple of years between releases.

That is alot of good games together, i'm here mainly for CVS2, hopefully with the care they took with Marvel collection if they could do a proper english translation of CVS Pro with all interactions for versus and partner quotes translated, that would be great and i have a tiny amount of hope with them using the full japanese name for the title art (just looked at my pal DC copy, just has Pro as the subtitle)

Powerstone 1 and 2 finally get a release on modern platforms. Means I don’t need to hook up the Dreamcast to play these two gems (pun intended).

            4 player couch co-op please…

Capcom are the developer that keeps on giving…

Powerstone Collection on PSP says hi!

(That's going for pretty cheap, to be fair)

Some people are ripping the website that's not officially up for those rom sets/port version and changes that the Marvel website had. Looks like edits Capcom FE Midnight Bliss transformations, which might be down to some of them be close homages to Jojo characters lisalisa and the hag being spot on, Dio is a pass i think and Ryu's possibly being labelled racist by today modern audience not knowing the reference (little girl from SF the Animation when Ryu's in India)

Power Stone, Rival Schools:PJ and Plasma Sword (DC versions) are getting some story art changes, well i haven't a clue about what they could do in Plamsa Sword, but i remember Power Stone having some ending art that wouldn't pass in todays climate (not quite dragon ball Mr Popo levels, but close enough) and Rival Schools has panty shots.

none of the VMU stuff is coming over for the power stone ports and edit characters in Rivals School can't be done in game (suggesting its possible outside?)

Something about toggling between Original and Easy Operation for CVS2.

Also chuckling at those few long term Ingrid fans finally eating good... however i don't think the SFA3 version is the one with the Ingrid in it

Not sure how it's recycling when most of the games on Fighting Collection 2 haven't had loads of ports...

Of the three collections this is the one that really stands out for me, definitely interested and it would be great if Capcom included some of the early concept and beta version content in the gallery for Capcom vs SNK showing off more of the stuff that had been planned that featured a broader range of Capcom references.

I made some noises when this came up on the stream - what a collection!

A bit of a shame that it's going to be all of the arcade versions and we miss out on some of the neat stuff that got added to console ports of these games (and that it's Upper rather than Double Upper...), but I can live with all of this. Aside from what... Tech Romancer? JoJo? It now feels like nearly Capcom fighter stuck on PS2/DC hardware is now covered on modern hardware. So exciting.

I genuinely no longer feel like CvS 3 or Marvel 4 are total pipe dreams, which is a wild position to find myself in.

Maybe Capcom and ARIKA come to an arrangement to give us a Capcom Fighting Collection 3 dedicated to the Street Fighter EX games in the future?
