It's been a few days since PS5 Pro was revealed so naturally the news cycle marches on to the next hardware!
Only really big news to Intel Shareholders but the above report says that Intel lost to AMD in 2022 in the battle to provide the chips for PS6. This helps ensure PS6's backward compatibility, with disagreement over profit margins said to be the issue.
Looking at the history it was unlikely Intel would be the pick but it's one piece of the PS6 puzzle in place ahead of what is currently likely to be a 2027/2028 launch
