I know this is supposed to be a megaton reveal because its Naughty Dog but I'll need to see more, at face value it looks a bit generic

At least we know what they’re working on now, and it won’t be 5 years away.

        Another dimension

This looks ace. Love all those little touches like retro-futuristic tech and a Porsche spaceship. Going to keep my eye that's not behind an eyepatch on this.

It made me think of this ace Carpenter Brut video, but there's loads of ace influences from Cowboy Bebop and Akira:

This is really giving off, original Jack & Daxter team goes to space vibes, and the team is just having fun making a cool game, cant wait to play it.

The artwork looks so generic from the thumbnails, but the trailer, from the voice acting, product placement, concept and world look brilliant.

Also, pleasantly surprised Naughty Dog are developing this! I think this is only the third truly next generation game (After GT7 & Starfield) that I’ve actually been interested in. It’s been slim pickings so far.

The lightsaber is not doing much for me. Intrigued to see how combat is going to work.

Been on holiday this week so missed the game awards. Now I’ve rewatched the trailer on my tv with a better resolution I have to say that trailer is crisp as flip, there’s not a particle out of place.

This trailer left me very cold; I've no idea what part of it was meant to be engaging, exciting or even interesting.

I think they were probably hoping most of it was meant to be all of those things.

I hope so, given that's what a trailer is supposed to do.

I guess it is, as they've titled it, an "announcement trailer", so the game's now announced. It just didn't tell me enough about the game to get interested.

From what i've gleamed around the web, this seems like Druckmann doing his Kojima arc, getting 150-200 'known' TV/steaming actors as the bounties and cast... i can't see this ever getting finished before 2027 and not with the rep ND have for working their staff to the bone, who would with any competence would want to work for them.

I really liked the trailer, probably right up until the actual gameplay (which I didn't hate but didn't thrill me)

The part with the woman waking up, walking through the apartment with the different screens flickering to continue the conversation, the design of the music player she uses etc - I love the aesthetic and vibe. And the face technology ND use is so good.

Once we saw the gameplay at the end I was like ah, okay, yeah a lot of rhythmic third person combat. You can kind of see how this is going to play out.

But I really thought the look of the trailer was great and I found it very engaging personally. I'm not really one that subscribes to the view that trailers need gallons of gameplay footage. It's okay to use most of the runtime to establish a mood, I think. I think we already kind of know how this game is going to play from the couple of seconds shown and the types of game that ND make.

Admittedly I'm predisposed to not like it, as I'm not a fan of Uncharted and I didn't play The Last of Us franchise (I'm planning to watch the series at some point though - it just always struck me as the sort of thing I'd prefer to watch than play). Obviously though they have literally millions of fans, so if this spoke to them, then I guess they pitched it right.

You owe it too yourself to play through the tLoU 1&2 at the very least bud, they are incredible games and fantastic stories to go through.
