When was the last time you went into the cinema and complained the projector was running at 24FPS :P

I actually get motion sickness from certain camera angles (mainly helicopter-camera pans) in the cinema due to the frame rate :P

Film is very different. Motion blur that film captures, for example, goes a long way towards smoothing out the 24fps.

In any case, locked at 30 > unstable 60.

and in a strange twist of fate, that is what the next gen games are doing to smooth out their 30FPS.
