    ESPGaLuDa or DoDonPachi Dou Ju?

I cant chose between these 2 games for ps2...I can buy only one for now...which would you buy?

(i love DoDonPachi and dont like to much ESP Ra.De...so the question is:
ESPGaluda its more similar to DDP or to ESPRa.De? and also, how does ESPGaluda compares with Mushihimesama?)

I'm a big girls blouse, so ESPGaluda for me over DDPOJ. That being said, if you prefer DDP to Ra.De, then it's probably a fairly safe bet to say you'd prefer DOJ...

I like ESPgaluda better. I didn't like DOJ as much as DoDonPachi.

DOJ is hard while ESPgaluda is a lot more doable (but certainly not easy). I can't chain for sh*t in DOJ and the game finds very quick ways to kill me, whilie i am pretty decent at dodonpachi. personally i don't care for the millitary theme of the dodon-series and i think that ESPgaluda looks a lot more interesting and creative, but that's just my opinion.

in regards to gameplay ESP.ra.de is not very representative of ESPgaluda. there is no kakusei-mode in ESP.ra.de and instead of being forced to hover of the bottom of the screen ESPGaluda invites and rewards you to be in the top of the screen.

i can highly recommend ESPgaluda as both fun & pretty! the port is near perfect of equal quallity of DOJ but you should perhaps make up your mind after seeing some superplay videos of both games and see which one appeals most to you.

        see www.super-play.co.uk for some videos.

Another vote for ESPGaluda. Though tbh, both are essential.

Stick me in the ESPGaluda camp.

I think the Kakusei system is a work of genius. I just love working with it and I really enjoy the system of scoring it employs. I?ve not had the pleasure of playing ESP Ra. De but from my understanding, ESPGaluda?s system is not the same (apart from the Arrange Mode which I believe uses Ra.Da?s system.

Just wish whatever issue Cave had with Arika would get resolved and they got them to work on ESPGaluda 2 for PS2.

it's my understanding that all the issue's have long been resolved but Arika refused to do the port of mushihimesama when asked because DOJ & ESPgaluda were very hard to do already and that they (Arika) just didn't have the time for it.

I prefer Mushi over both Espgaluda and Dodonpachi myself, although an Espgaluda 2 port would be nice.

                  Bloody hard game though.

Espgaluda - I'm another one who just fails at DDP. There's a point in level 3 where it becomes practically impossible for me. Just far too many bullets for me to comprehend...

Like Bleeders I enjoy Mushi most of all though.

                      That's a shame

I've always felt Arika's ports felt that extra bit special compared to Taito's but I guess they are a smaller team. I hope that Cave's output continues to get ported to the next gen (presumably PS3 or 360) as well as they have been on PS2.

Get Espgaluda. Less restricitve than DDP, and a more satisfying game overall.

I personally prefer Espgaluda. I think the bullet time feature is really cool and it makes the game more accessible. DDP is insanely tough IMO!!
