Are YOU still getting Red Steel?

I'm still getting it.

I'm normally fairly easy to please and I've been hyped about this for ages.

I'm profoundly disappointed the sword control isn't analogue as first thought (it uses triggered preset moves instead). I reckon I'll still get it though, as most of the reviews I've read have been favourable.

I've had a quick play (round a friends'; I don't own it). Not enough time to comment in depth, but to be honest I wasn't that impressed. It's not that bad, but it's not exactly a launch title blockbuster either. After having used the control system to play Twilight Princess and Wii Sports, Red Steel's implementation just doesn't feel as intuitive. I'd say "more later" but by the time I'm done with this next arseload of work, some rapscallion who is skiving off in order to play their new Wii will have posted all the gory details instead. Grr. :P

I cancelled mine for Monkey Ball, looking for a FPS to get though so it's gonna have to be COD3 or Far Cry.
