Just a thought.

Want a Wii, cant afford one on launch but maybe just before xmas on dec pay check.

You think by then I coudl walk in my local Currys or Gamestation and say
"Wii plz sir and few gamse".

And walk out with it?

Or is it going to be a mad 360 rush?

There's apparently going to be a second delivery before Christmas, so in theory you should be able to pick one up. Nintendo have certainly been making them for long enough that you'd hope there wouldn't be stock problems, but I think it will depend on just how popular the console is in the mainstream. You're probably best to pre-order now and that way you should get one from the second delivery anyway.

Would mainly depend on your area. I'm probably the only person who's heard of the Wii in my town.
