360 games to date worth playing

So the 360 has been out a little over a year now..and for all that time I haven't followed it whatsoever. I've just been told a premium pack will be under the Christmas tree with my name on it..so what games should I be getting.

So please list away, as aside from the odd big hitter (GoW), and those games looked upon favourably in the reviews here, I know very little about what decent games it has to offer. All genres liked etc. Cheers all
