Looks like it's wii only - Could be great Big fan of the series (well, SSX, SSX3 and On Tour wasn't so fond of Tricky tbh)

Definately something to keep an eye on although I personally wasn't fond of On Tour (SSX3 was all but perfect in my opinion).

I too loved SSX3, and is it me, or is that the exact same mountain in Blur, as was in 3??? At least I'll know where I'm going

Looks really nice. Should work great with the controller too. I can't see there being a shortage of 3rd person titles for Wii as everyone seems to see the potential in it.

Is the title a reference to the standard Wii video lead?

Looks okay I guess, but I'd be inclined to wait for a 1080 sequel from Nintendo.

If anyone's still interested (You should be, it looks awesome) some new footage of this has appeared over the last week or so (Including an outline of the controls). Aside from the first party stuff this is close to the top of my wish list for the Wii purely because it's a proper game and it seems really suited to the controller.

Someone suggested to me that the mountain looks like it might be recycled from SSX3, which I've not been able to confirm or deny. Anyone?

From what I've seen of the tracks they do look pretty similar to the SSX3 tracks.

A more in-depth look at the game this time, with some real information. Mentions that some tweaked old tracks return (Happiness) and we can expect some new tracks as well. Some video footage there also. Looking good.

I'm intrigued by the 'groove' thing, although it seems it might just be cosmetic at the moment - hopefully that will change (Or become more apparent) in the weeks leading up to release.

On Tour was my least favourite of the series so far, it was completely devoid of all the personality the previosu games had and no matter how many times I go back to it, I just can't play it for long.

Really enjoyed SSX3 though, so some old mixed with some new along with a potentially decent control system and I'm sold.

To be honest as long as Zoe and Moby are returning characters I'm buying it anyway

Isn?t it strange that a developer who is usually slated on forums (and by me in the past) Electronic Arts seem to be taking the Wii seriously and putting out some good output. First Madden and now SSX Blur and Tiger Woods 2007 doesn?t look too shabby. I?m gonna sell my Pal Wii (big mistake) and join the queue and wait for a US machine. Europe may get SSX Blur in time for Christmas.

If Gamespot are to be believed, the US and UK releases are in the same week (Second week of March). So you never know.

The controls sound good, although if they aren't executed properly then it will harm the game.

Not sure if I want them to use the same mountain as SSX3 but if there are plenty of new tracks then who cares.
