Got a quick one for you...

I STILL have no 'net access at my flat which means no Wii online on launch day so I was just curious as to how important it will be to get the Wii online & updated etc.???

I realistically wont be getting AOL till the New Year now so I will no doubt miss out on my prefered Mii names etc. but thems the breaks

There is no naming reservations like the 360 Gamertags. Each Wii has a number (like the DS) and you exchange numbers with friends, and nickname them whatever you want.

My question is thus: Will my friend code be tied to the console, so if I say import an NTSC wii next year will I lose all my account? I'm aware the VC titles are tied to the box but is the whole online account?

Your friend code is actually more of a console code.

Ok so it is tied, hmm is it much of a problem changing consoles? I guess it's starting afresh so to speak.
