Well done to whoever that is. I sold 2 ps3's on ebay uk. The first was a 20gb, and went within 2 hours for ?645, so ebay never had a chance to take it off. The second was a 60gb that was taken off twice by ebay, I just kept on relisting and it was bought for ?745.

Not really anything to do with the subject matter strictly speaking, but just so people know (for anybody interested),

An electronics store (won't mention the name - it's easy enough to find, trust me) on Tottenham Court Road is selling JAP 60GB PS3s & 1 game of choice.

However, they're asking for ?850 - some may feel that's a bargain, others may feel that to be akin to extortion.

I'm more inclined towards the latter opinion, tbh.

I think that means UK PS3 games in the future and R2 DVDs, just not very well phrased

The guy claims he'll post the system within 2 hours of payment......guess he doesn't sleep much & has a local post office that's open 24-7

Hasn't stopped them before, my mate won a wii auction, paid for it(by paypal) then Ebay pulled the auction. Ebay's answer was 'speak to the seller to get your money back'

He was fortunate enough to get the wii in the end, nice move ebay!

I'm amazed people pay this much over the retail price. With a little bit of work you can pick a 60G up for ?350 ( including postage from Japan ).

Well the top price on Japanese auction sites for 60G PS3 are 70k ( ?305 ) ,then add ?40 for EMS. If you dont have a Yahoo Japan premium account , then use one of the proxy services.Even if they charge you 10-15% its still a hell of a lot better than bloody over ?500+.

Hopefully , looking to import one myself within the month .

And then add on customs charges, unless the ever-so-helpful Japanese seller is willing to send it as being declared as less than ?36, and then potentially lose ?300+ if it goes missing/damaged/tea-leaved.
