    This is the first I've heard of any of it and it's a minus point for the system for me. I would have liked the ability to copy my save game files from the memory cards to the console's internal memory so I don't need them anymore. Having to use a GameCube controller doesn't bother me as much as I've got loads around the place and most likely always will do but I understand completely why people are irritated that they can't use the classic controller.

    It wouldn't stop me buying it but it seems to make more sense to have made these things possible than not.

      Not being able to transfer gamecube saves is annoying. The memory card sticks out the top all ugly like, and what with the Wii being quite style conscious, this seems stupid

        Judging from the complete mess which is 360 backwards compatibility then I would say its very hard.

        GC backwards compatibility is a nice bonus, its by no means a massive selling point thats why its hidden under a flap for the 15% of wii users who will actually bother with it.
