Last Blade and Gals Fighters are good, though both (especially the latter) are not that easy to find...

I just wanted to clear this up the yare just about the same game.

I think the UK versions has some extras over the Jap one but dont quote me on that, the yare identical apart from these extras.

You can get a new copy at play-asia for about ?5 dunno if they have any left though.

BTW forget Gal Fighters and Last Blade you want Capcom VS SNK MOTM it gives home console fighting games a run for their money, its truely amazing.

Also if you do ge ta NGPC then get Sonic its dead easy to get a boxed version for about ?15 on ebay and its one of my favorite Sonic games of all time.

As well as the main game its got puzzle mode and Time Trial. Trust me you will not rest till you have most of those puzzle bits. I never thought i would say this about a Sonic game but its got very good replay value.

Thanks for digging deep, Mr. Mole. I'm particularly intrigued by Faselei and Samurai Showdown 2, after doing some research.

Faselei reminds me of what I've seen of Front Mission, which sadly I never got to play. Mechs have made my day before. SS2 has this big, muscled, chained to the cave wall creature as a later stage boss and emanates an overall dramatic! atmosphere.

Metal Slug as well as Sonic, I agree, seem worth buying.

I cannot say what happened. Me guesses: oversaturation and too much work at the time that somehow allowed this title to escape ending on the pile next to my Sony Trinitron.

Faselei is one of the most praised NGPC games along with Cardfighters Clash and Capcom VS SNK MOTM.

I have not managed to get hold of a copy yet but im on the look out.

I'm going to have to disagree here. MOTM *is* the best fighter on the NGPC, but if you can get it, pick up Gal Fighters too. It's the fastest beat'em-up on the system and (for me, at least) the controls seem more consistent. Get both if you can. MOTM is huge, plays well, and has so many extras, it's hard to believe. GF offers nothing more than fighting, but it's bloody good fighting at that.

They are the same game, as when u play Big Tournament Golf the title screen says Neo Turf Masters it seems they did it under the Western name, then altered the packagin for the Japanese version.

Personally I prefer Last blade on NGPC to MOTM- Its a little more leftfield and deep to my likings. It also seriously aided my MVS Last Blade 2 playing as most of the moves are the same and tha stick is just so

Gals fighters is more of a spoofy type fighting game. get MOTM and Last blade and you'll have a lovely rounded set
