Changing HDD - retaining saves

A 120GB HDD is due to turn up for my machine next week, accepted the fact I'd loose my RR7 save.

However, I found a function under System Settings called Backup Utility, copying stuff to external media.
What does this actually copy? Saves? Downloaded demos? Everything?

well im just wondering mate...what would happen if you fired up the internet browser, went to hotmail and tried to attach a file to an email you were sending to yourself? Can you browse the ps3 Hard drive and attach game saves?

I havent tried it yet, but there must be a way of doing it. If not, i presume that backup utlility copies everything to a USB storage device?
