Chase HQ2's been at Casino and the Troc for a while now. There's a new standup version of it at ATEI, but at the end of the day it's still ****e

It has? This is supposed to be the European debut of the game. I figured it'd be lame anyway.

Oh yeah. Did anyone see or play Snoobowl?
It's a combination of bowling and pool in ways.
Imagine a long bowling alley lane but at the end you next to bowl the pins down with ya snooker cue and break off and try and bowl the pins down!

DJ Yoshitaka's remix of Ray Parker's 'Ghostbusters' theme on IIDX Gold. Taken on 24/01/07 at the ATEI exhibition in London, UK.

                        IIDX Gold was in London?!

What are the chances of a place like the trocadero getting a beatmania cab?

Still one more day of it mate! Get yourself over here if you can

It's looking a lot more likely, now that they have a UK distributor etc... Cross your fingers!

                            Did you play this?

It's a human vs human game, and from the 4 hours or so I played today it's surprisingly deep. Easily the best game I've seen at ATEI.

When I posted that, no - I did get to playing it today though and am quite happy to stand by the first impressions I got from it visually: up close I noticed a lot of the characters are very nicely detailed, but it seems to swallow up a lot of the system's power and generate a lot of slowdown, and the control system really still needs a lot of tweaking. Most of all I found it frustrating rather than fun.

I really like the idea of a vs lightgun game, but I really don't like the execution at all.
