Oh thank god they spared my wallet for extra expenses...it's a shame though, I was lookign forward to this game. Guess I'll wait for Pilotwings.

The fact that the cover game is a near six month old PS2/Xbox port doesn't fill me with much enthusiasm to be honest.

I quite liked Scarface - Was a well thought out game and could actually lend itself to the whole "wiimote aim" thing nicely (if they go that route)

        Wing Island =

erm...no? One of the best RPGs of last year, with perfect controls, and it gets a crap score... With a score like that I don't need to read the review first, they either hated it (impossible) or didn't understand it (much more likely). And if the review was positive, then that score would make no sense so their review scores are out of line with their reviews

NGamer is another magazine to strike off my "To Be Trusted" list then...

I heard it's good just nowhere near Secret of manas level.

Besides 65/100isnt a bad score? it's just not reasonably high like say 80s.

If it was 35 and it's a bad score.

And everyone has their own opinion! Maybe they were fans of the original and thought this was far from it's glory.

            etc.

God your acting like it's "65/100 - Crappest game ever, We hate it, Never again shall we play it"

It's probably just got too many annoying factors or bugs or something to keep it from getting a good score.

Both Nintendo formats are awash with shoddy, rushed, half-baked cartoon and kids licences right now I hope third-parties start to come around to the idea of Nintendo formats as a viable place for their more 'worthy' titles instead of using them as cartoon cash cows.

I thought it was ****e compared to the rest of the series. Just repetitive hack and slash with a crap battle system, and nothing to make it worthwhile but the pretty graphics. Not a patch on Seiken Densetsu 2, 3 or 4. Sword of Mana was a whole lot better than COM as well - although i'm probably in the minority there.

Shame to see SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters get a bad score. Still going to buy it as I did like the NGPC version.

I'm not getting at Scarface which seemed alright from what I played of it.

I'm more getting at the fact that ports of 6 month old PS2/Xbox games aren't what I'm really looking for from Wii barely 6 weeks after launch.

Until Excite Truck makes it's belated PAL appearance there is literaly nothing that I want to buy for my Wii. Apart from Zelda and Red Steel which I got at launch none of the current titles make me want to part with any cash

Have to say I'm quite lookin forward to Scarface if they get the controls right, I was going to pick up the Xbox ver now that they've added it to the 360 compatability list, but if the Wii controls are done well I'll hold off for that version.

I think these ports are more for Nintendo exclusive gamers though, I mean the GC with the exception of True Crime didn't really get anything like that, and now the Wii is getting both Scarface and Driver Parallel Lines which is another one I was considering picking up on Xbox. Again, I'll hold off and see how that controls too now.

Anyone know where you can get an Australian copy of Super Swing Golf. It's PAL right so it should work on a UK machine?
