I actually only bought my Jap PS2 for the shooters & then discovered the wealth of 2D fighters also available which was an added bonus.
Other than that very little on the platform interests me...although EDF 2 & DMC 3 have both found their way into my collection recently & I'm glad they did as they are cracking games but apart from them I cant really see myself buying anything else that isnt a Shooter or Fighter

Only played the Dodgeball & Contra ones and they pretty much kick ass. No idea about the others though.
I'm especially interested in those Kunio Kun games^^
@topic:
I'd also recommend Sega Ages Virtua Racing (the Sega Classics Collection Virtua Racing has no steering wheel support) and Choujikuu Yousai Macross (both for PS2).

Fark. Thanks guys. Those recommendations will keep my bank balance busy for a few months.
I think Ill start with some simple 2000 games, Espgaluda and Katamari Demarcy (as we only ever got 'We Love Katamari' in PAL-LAnd).
First 2 Taito Memories are already in the mail, allong with 3rd Strike, GRadius Gaiden and Garou: MOTW.
I read the review for 'Rumble FIsh'. Is that fighter worth getting?
Fist of the North Star - mat etold me I had to buy this.
Im also excited about the Sega Ages 'Wonder Boy' collection. I assume Im not alone. Do you think they'll eventually release RAdiant Silvergun as part of the Sega Ages range?
That Gatchaman PS1 game I mentioned - I saw it on ebay a week ago. Googled for it. Its a budget 2D action game featuring all the characters. On foot and vehicle sections. Looked like alright fan service but little else. I do love my Science ninja team thoughLast edited by craptest; 06-02-2007, 22:11.
