Super Paper Mario April 9th US/Euro?

Man bit of a suprise here if true!
Kotaku has said it's coming out as virtual console download.
That would make it the first exclusive wii virtual console download title, if true and not misquote.

AS the press release only says........

on the 9th Day of April 2007

The nuptials will take place at the beginning of Super Paper Mario, which will be available for Nintendo's hot new Wii home video game system. Those who wish to attend - or thwart - the ceremony will need to switch between 2-D and 3-D.

Excellent news if true, especially as Nintendo won't incur any packaging and distribution costs and so should pass the savings on to us.

I really doubt this will be on the VC. There is only 512MB of internal memory. OK this game doesn't need to be huge but it will be a fair bit bigger than a average N64 rom I would have thought.

Probably misquote. Nintendo Power announced month ago that Super Paper Mario was coming this April, but there was nothing about it being VC title.

Nah it was on the assumption of Kotaku actually saying it on the site BUT they have been indeed misquoted, hence why i said..

AND also referencing the official nintendo press release which has no mention of virtual console only the date, which just so happens to be a monday.

I seriously doubt that this is going to be vc.

Firstly it was originally gamecube game so it would be massive to download. Secondly by making it vc only they would cut a lot of sales out as not everyone has their wii connected online to download it.

Nintendo lose out on potential sales, hmm not the nintendo i know they luuuurve the cash.
