London's Oxford Street HMV is hosting another game launch on 23rd February, and this time it's Final Fantasy XII, the next instalment in the immensely-popular JRPG series, which is being celebrated.
The event will run between 12pm and 2pm, and gift wristbands will be given out as early as 9am. If you snag one of these bands and are one of the first 100 to purchase the game, you'll receive a Moogle soft toy and a CD of five tracks selected by composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.
If you're one of the next 200 people and have a wristband, then you'll also get the limited edition CD, specially put together for the launch event.
All attendees will also have a chance to win a trip to Japan, by entering a free competition.
But it wouldn't be a game launch without a fancy-dress competition, so Square Enix talent spotters will be dishing out freebies to those with the best outfit on the day.

At the party Akitoshi Kawazu (the executive producer of FFXII and the creator of the Saga/Final Fantasy Legend series) and Hiroshi Minagawa (co director of FFXII and art director of Final Fantasy Tactics) will be around to sign copies of the game
I've had the US LE since release which I'm hoping to get signed, but if there's the opportunity for goodies with this one I'm probably going to end up buying that too... despite the fact I haven't even played my US copy yet.
Think I might pass on the cosplay competition though
