Fav 360 Achievement

When you look at your Achievements page is there one above all others that you are most pleased with? - Be it cos it was pure solid or gave you the greatest pleasure unlocking...

I've not really been that big into them, but getting the Karate Champ Achievement on Dead Rising springs to mind. Really enjoyed getting that

I thought about posting this as a topic the other day when I finished Lost Planet on Extreme - I was well chuffed with that one.

I got Karate Champ just by steadily walking through the tunnels and repeatedly performing a Double Lariat ... not that much fun for me.

Hard to name just one ... but if there's one that I would guard with my life for fear of having to do it again, then it would be:

Lumines - 200 blocks in 180 seconds

Almost killed myself getting this one. Felt ill afterwards, had to lie down for hours, and dreamt about little squares all through the night. Still to get the 300s and 600s achievements, but can't really bring myself to play it again. Maybe next month, sometime.

i liked the zombie genocide in dead rising, that was four and a half hours straight

i like odd ones that totally flip the gameplay, like the pacifist achievement in geometry wars

the secret achievements in hitman are awesome as well

an annoying achievement is in FEAR. there is one for killing every enemy in the game. if you get it, it unlocks when you kill the last enemy, not once you've completed it so it totally spoils the tension in the last level

Heavy Weapon - Atomic Tank

"Use a nuke" achievement. Required the mighty skill of pulling the right trigger. After hours of sweat and tears, I got there. Never again.

Dead Rising

Zombie Genocider achievement. Boring to get, but the Mega Man Cannon was definitely worth it.

There's a few I really like. I love the "I can't quit you Dom" one from Gears because it (for me) reinvented co-op for this generation.

I'm sure we all love the "Activate RS Card" in Madden 06 too!

"Karate Champion" on Dead Rising was excellent too, much fun.

Can't think of any others at the moment!

Geometry Wars - Survived 1,000,000

When i got that, it was 200/200 for Geometry Wars for me and it felt fanbloodytastic.

100 online wins for mortal kombat. Only got a piffling amount of points, but overcame the smoke players mainly with stryker. Very satisfying.

7 Stars on SFII HF was a bit tough I thought. oh and what's that? weeeeeeeeeeeee - a 360 on RR6

I know what you mean...You'll be pleased to know the 300s and 600s ones aren't quite as hard as that one.

250K in Skin Edit mode was the other one to cause me grief.

I like the more creative ones, like Pacifism in Geometry Wars, or the 0 point ones you get in DOA4 for losing a certain number of online matches. Apparently Bullet Witch gives you one point for finishing the game on the unlockable hardest difficulty. Crackdown looks full of good ones.

I liked how clever they were with some of the names of achievements in Gears, like 'my love for you is like a truck' and 'a series of tubes'.

Overall, though, probably my most satisfying one was the Rainbow Six achievement for killing five enemies without dying in multiplayer. It's not difficult to get; it's just that I got it when I was on my own in a 5-on-1 game with friends

Redemption in Hitman: Blood Money deserves a mention, too. That one surprised me.

The achievement I'm most proud of is Survive 1,000,000 in Geometry Wars but my most enjoyable achievement is 100 Chainsaw kills in Ranked Play in Gears of War. I genuinely adored chainsawing all 100 victims.

I'm quite fond of the one for getting a clip in the top 20 on Burnout, just because not a lot of people on my list have it so I'm quite proud of it.

But I think the one for beating all of RR6's World Xplorer mode is my favourite.

100 wins on Pro Evo was nice to get. Also enjoyed the 10 kills without dying on R6.
