With IRC just make sure that you select a quakenet server and the server and /join #ntsc-uk.com that's all there is to it really. If you download mIRC all the different servers are listed that you can select from.

The website should only be down for days not weeks, unless something goes horribly wrong.

The IRC java version on the homepage wasn't working with the newest version of java. Don't know why not. I'll see if I can fix it.

I've never used MIRC before so I downloaded it and I couldnt get anywhere. Chose a username, email and selected the quakenet server. just kept telling me my username was invalid. I thought I got a free 30 day evaluation?

Man... MIRC sucks bins bags. You should get gAIM. I think it's available for windows. Either way, use one of the UK servers:

Takes me about ten secs to get on and it didn't refuse me. You shouldn't need a passwd.

The site will be going down at some point today, and will be up and running in a couple of days time on a brand new server.
