It's good to see people still chugging away at this, so many folding groups go stale but this one seems very much active. I've changed to the ntsc-uk team on my ps3, server and pc folding software, go team! heh.

Yeah, I don't have it running all that often on my PS3 (Usually if I'm downloading from the store on a Thursday night or charging my pad), but I have a Linux PC at my desk at work that pretty much does nothing but fold.

Runs as an app on the PS3.

I've been running this for a while on my crappy desktop at work.. If they released a version for the psp I'd have it sat there running forever..

Anyone else got Life with Playstation now rather than Folding@Home?

just joined the ntsc team, just wondering will it cause any side effects using it, lag wise or anything?

will this work every time im online say playing mgo will i still contribute, or does it only work when u leave the folding prgram running?

Only when the app itself is up and running (Life with Playstation now).

Sorry for the late reply, but i doubt it. Just set up my new ps3 on this and i'm still way in the lead on the leaderboard.

I loaded it up a while back, but I don't run it often at all. I'd rather save my fuel bill than some random hypochondriac.

I've not used it myself for quite sometime but according to their site it's still an active project across the formats.

I was always quite surprised by the size of the PS3 support in the past as although it apparently it performs the calculations with ease I'd imagine the power consumption is probably worse than on other platform.

They do seem to have completed quite few projects through folding@home though.
