I don't play a lot of public games on Live, but I've met a few women on Uno in particular. This may just be my odd luck but there seems to be a ton of Swedish women on there.

Maybe you've stumbled across the Uno cam-whores contingent?

I regularly play on xbox live and im a girl, this isnt a big deal imo.

Theres plenty out there, they either dont see the point in screaming "I'm a girl!" whenever they enter a game, or they are terrified that by sounding femine on the chat channel they will get a rush of A/S/L messages.

What gets on my nerves are the fake girl gamers created by games companies to lure in pre-pubescent teenagers due to the male gamer steroetype that they are spotty, nerdy geeks with the social skills of a brick.

There are far more females on Live than there were, say, 6 months ago and it must be said some of them aren't too shabby with a control pad. There's one in particular who frequently plays PGR3 with the game's finest cat & mouse players.

my girlfriend plays very occasionally, but she won't use the headset anymore. can't say i blame her, she used to get all sorts of hassle from people once they found out she was female.

Sadly there is a hell of a lot more who LOVE to scream "I'm a girl!" Those types get on my tits.
The ones who act all normal like your good self are fine by me.

my girlfriend has had a 360 since launch but hardly plays on it. this is mostly due to her world of warcraft addiction but when she does play it an goes on live she just gets hounded by men. she gets a **** load of friend requests after a game and gets flirted with constantly.

why can't men just act normal and stop driving girls away?

Tell me about it, half the people on my Xbox Live friends list are from when a mate of mine came up for a week. Constant "have you got live vision?" etc loads of friend requests, I still ain't worked out who's actually part of MY friends list and who added me wanting teh girlz :P

I find it really funny when you're playing a game and theres a girl in the room though, just the desperation some guys go through trying to chat them up. Might put my missus on the mic next time she's round jus to see what happens :P
