The Hot Shots Golf / Everybodys Golf games

Having had my first experience of the series with the Minna No Golf 5 demo on PlayStation Network I have to admit it has me hooked.

For my 'fun' golf I've always had Mario Golf 64 or Mario Golf Toadstool Tour and Links 2004 has been the game I've turned to if I want a more realistic game.

I can't wait until summer for the 5th game so which is the best of the current PS2 versions? I'll need a US PS2 copy and I think the two PS2 versions are called Hot Shots Golf 3 and Hot Shots Golf FORE! over there.

The PSP version is absolutely sublime - still one of the best reasons to own one !

That's the PS3 version, I'm asking to discuss the older games in the series and hoping for recommendations as to which is best.

The PSP Hot Shots game is amazing. Many hours of play, and a damn good challenge.

Get the PSP version, and for a bit of variety download PS Minna no Golf 2 from the Playstation store as well.
