Blast Factor

Downloaded the demo earlier off the UK shop, and gave it a quick go. Enjoyed it but is very much like Mutant Storm Reloaded. Nice graphics and funky sound though. Anyone bought the full thing?

It is a similar to those other 2 stick controller type shooters (you know the ones I mean).

I've really started getting into it now though, there seems to be a lot more going on when you've moved on beyond 2 or 3 bosses. I almost didn't get it after the demo (not good) but one of my friends downloaded the full game and I found that a lot better.

HK$24.00 but I'm not sure if they would be compatible or not?

Is anybody planning on buying Blast Factor: Advanced Research when it's released?

I'm just going through my E3 videos and I'd forgotten about this one!

It's definately been polished quite a bit but it does look very similar at the moment though. I wonder if there will be any new things added or if it'll be more of the same?

How's it compare to Stardust HD? I did download the demo at launch but iirc it was quite short and not as immediately impactful like Stardust HD was. I'd happily pay another £4.99 for another 5 planets or Tunnel levels of that!

It appears that Blast Factor: Advanced Research may be an expansion rather than a sequel from what I can make out in this article:

We?ve just put the finishing touches on the Blast Factor: Advanced Research expansion and we?re stoked to see what you guys think of it! We got a lot great feedback on Blast Factor, and we?re implementing a lot of that into Blast Factor: Advanced Research, there?s SO much cool new stuff! Seven new specimens, eleven new types of enemy, two new bosses, monthly online high score tables, new practice mode, remixed sound effects, eight new music tracks and dynamic lighting. Man, we need a vacation!

Just downloaded this.

They have added a "Blast Factor Store" to the menus which takes you directly to an in game themed version of the Store.

Hopefully that means we'll get some more stuff for this!!

EDIT:
The Advanced mode is suitably named!!!

I've not played this for some while but went straight into the new game and lasted about a minute lol. The screen filled up with enemies almost instantly.
