An update of ye olde Amiga game, which I remember being pretty good, so this could be one to look out for.

I do like the look of that. It's nothing original but that's not always a bad thing.

I wonder if we'll ever see a downloadable HD version of Ikaruga on PSN or Live?

Eurogamer give it a big thumbs up in their reivew.

Super Stardust HD is an absolute star, the jewel in the crown of the PlayStation Store and quite possibly the best purists' shooter to appear on console since the legendary Geometry Wars.

I know this has an EU release date of 29/06, but will it be released earlier in the US or has the same date been announced?

The EU release was meant to be 15th June, but then that got pulled back a bit. The US release is the day before (28/6), whereas the Japanese get it the same day as us. I’m guessing that’s all been scrapped with a simultaneous launch on the 29th.

Super Stardust plays like Astroids, rather than Geo Wars. It also has 3rd person shooty bits going through a tunnel too, which were ace.

In fact the whole game was awesome and it's nice to see it in new shiney graphics. A definate buy for me whenever I get my PS3

Does look nice. I like that whip style weapon Can't wait to hear the music if it reminded EG of old Amiga scene demo music.
