    Im dunk and ranting.....

But i hate the gaming scene now, i loves the early 90's. Nintendo was the 'love', i used to wait 4 the next classic, and it was always a ****ing classic too, but now i see Ninty trying to be microsoft and place Shigg's as some sort of celeb, IT USED TO BE ABOUT THE GAMES, now its about satisfying corperate america.
I want, despertatly for jintendo to please, forget about gettomg that 4% market share away from microsoft, please, please get back and just let me love games like i used too, its not just nostalgia talking, but ninty has slipped, and is trying too much to compete, rather than just being the besy by relesing games when there ready.
Shenmue made me believe again, i loved it, i used to dream about it, FREE = emotion, which is what is missing now,PLEASE, PLEASE let me feel like that again, please let me feel that way again, if AM2 can do it, so can Shiggs.
If i ever have to listen to anothe rperson talk aboy GTA along the lines of Super Mario again, i will kiil and kill and kill

Im pissed, all spelling error's are my own fault

No I caught it and picked up what your saying just calling attention to your typing. I see your point with Nintendo, but on the other side of the coin I play Viewtiful Joe and I realize how not like Microsoft they are, granted that's from Capcom. Ninty will always be Ninty, they are just trying to change and adapt to the times.

Maybe it might be the other way and Microsoft is trying to be like Nintendo. There's the attempt at fuzzy mascot characters, innovative games and clever FPS. Reminds me of N64 all over again.

The kid didn't want to seem like a weirdo, so instead of talking about throwing a fake then threading a through ball, like he was doing, he rapped about pressing 'trick' 'trick' 'trick' as Batistuta from his own 18 yard box and scoring from 18 yards,..........

                  Concept's miniature rant:

Why do people refer to Shigeru Miyamoto as "Shigs" or "Shigsy", as if they know him on personal first-time basis or something?

You don't see people talking about Yu Suzuki as "Yuzie" or "Yuki". Neither do you witness people generally referring to Hideo Kojima, as "Koji" or "Hiddi".

So why the need to cutsy up Miyamoto's name?

Explanations on a proverbial postcard please, Mr. Answer Men.

They probably don't want to grapple with the spelling so "Shiggs" is easier to type.

Or maybe it's a bit deeper and it's an affectionate term for the man responsible for a big chunk of their childhood time.

                          Beats me, Connie.

Seriously though, I've always wondered that myself.
