Importing a US wii, any downsides?

I'm thinking of shipping out my PAL Wii and upgrading to a US one. I said I'd give NOE a few months to sort out what I view as major problems with the PAL Virtual Console and they haven't.

Luckily, the rather leen (again in my opinion) release schedule so far means I don't have a large amount of games that I have to rebuy in NTSC-U format.

I've no time to get into a new console at the mo, but for me, i'm hoping that by the time I get around to picking up a Wii in a few months, they'll be modded PAL units around so I can play all-region games, get the JAP VC (wishful thinking I guess) but also have RGB - can't take component you see.

Maybe i'm hoping for too much, but that'd be ideal. And just to top it off - hopefully Mario Galxy will be out. Maybe some new colours as well...
