I've been playing Forza2 with the wheel since last friday and find it fantastic to play with it.
DiRT on the other hand i can't get used to the car handling at all, feels like i'm floating on ice even when using Evos' etc. Didn't even bother trying the buggys'.
Gave up on it last night, and i was so looking forward to this as i loved the first 2 psone games

By what I've read, with defualt settings the wheel and DiRT aren't exactly a match made in heaven, but there are someone's suggested settings in the DiRT first play thread here and more on Codemasters own forums.

I found out that the gameplay is broken, its not analog. You can only press the stick far, and not lightly. This is weird, as CMR1 on the PS1 felt like perfection compared to V-Rally etc. The framerate is somewhat 30ish with constant drops.

When I had played the pretty awful looking Forza demo, I was leaning towards DIRT. But now I have Forza full game and its incredible, maybe they are not really comparable but Forza owns the **** out of this. Also, the online mode of DIRT will be time trial only.

I agree that DICE should step up and make RS3. Although EA might block that since they own DICE and RS didn't sell well.

Playing with a FF wheel I can assure you it's most definately analogue steering - I can pick this up better via pad after playing with the wheel actually (SO much easier with the pad).

Both Dirt and F2 suffer the same phenomenon - The full game is exponentially better than the demo.
