    360 Issues thread

I've had my 360 freeze up on me on 2 seperate occasions since playing it, first was in the middle of playing PDZ & second time was when exiting to the dash after playing PGR3.

    Anyone else had this problem?

EDIT: Adding phone number to contact MS on should a problem arise

No crashes yet. Played Kameo and PGR3. Not played my PDZ.

Nope - and my machine has been on for nearly 4 hours now - it's barely warm to the touch.

One isolated incident - It was exiting the dash while selecting a championship to race on with PGR3.

Apart from that, it's been on solid and everything is perfect.

Hmm. I've heard the machine can crash in the dashboard due to software glitchs, another glitch is occasional crashs when you try to bring up the 'live' menu while ingame by pressing that big X button.. but if it's crashing in game, i'd call microsoft and get a replacement sent out.

I did consider that it may have been the psu overheating but it was sitting on a completely open space on the living room floor. Hopefully it's just teething problems otherwise I'll be looking for a replacement as soon as the store I bought it from gets more in which will be next year probably.

Mate, my area manager and I picked our Xbox 360's last night and we put on PGR3 and it crashed before even the options menu came up!
Thought of it as nowt then it crashed again when we tried a 2nd time.
As I had the same game we tried again and it crashed again!
We tried PDZ afterwards thinking it might have been the PG3 game but it crashed again!
Says summat about a dirty disc or wrong region. My boss wasn't too pleased and we bought extra controllers hoping to get some PDZ action!
Eventually he got a refund as he woulda had to wait another week from MS for a replacement!

had an issue playing pdz system link last night... were playing some form of counterstrike gametype where you can buy arms at the start, it stalled a couple of times for everyone on the same xbox.

Been reading that not having the PSU on a carpet helps *shrug*
Or tie it to a bit of string and hang it somewhere.

Heh that has the be the best fix ever

How about the back of the unit? Specifically the area around the vents where it's being kept? Does that area get warm?
