International PSN Store Accounts: Full Instructions

Just had a mess around with payment methods on my HK account to as I like to have a mess with things occassionally....

Changed payment method from my Entropay account to my Visa debit card and it accepted the details so I tried transferring money from my card to my HK account and it went through no problem!!

I've never been able to register that card to any non UK account before but I know that it used to accept Matercards from the UK so I don't know what's changed there.

It used to be that if you added the lowest amount (HK$40:00) then it wouldn't confirm your address details. I kept it below the $40 and it went through fine but I've no idea if it'll accept more than that in one transaction.

Just downloading Echochrome now, I keep deciding not to download any import stuff on the PSN and it was going so bloody well until I decided to mess about!

Ive just signed up with Entropay and added £12 straight away (they even support your extra credit card check). Went straight away into PSN to add it in USA store and it failed. Couldnt understand it so checked and the idiots have frozen it because they want more info. I dont have a chuffing driving liscence as not allowed to drive or leave the country so dont have a passport either reason I signed up with em because I could use my NI as verification. They now want me to somehow magically not be bedridden and leave the house to send em credit card details etc... via a fax machine. So much for a easy service. Wouldnt mind as I said but my credit card even goes thru the extra encryption check when I added it. Why didnt they block it straight away instead of letting me add money and then blocking it. This way I now cant get it back and go buy Euro 2008 instead if I cant have one (was going to add £35 eventually or buy euro as only got £40 spare total). They want more security items from me than Gamestop did for Rockband, not happy bunny

There's a fax utility built into XP, don't know about Vista, so you could scan it and fax it via your PC.

Scan with what though lol Ive got a digital camera and a printer thats it no scanner or a fax machine. I had this with Rock Band with Gamestop what asked for less and ended up having to get my dad to go down to library few days later and get em all faxxed out.

Ive checked with credit card and theyve sent the money back to the card but its going to take 3working days for it to clear so Ive lost £12 either way on spends now till next week. I want boston pack now

They sorted me out yesterday (entropay) added £15 quids worth (about $30) and it worked straight away on USA store. I left the name as my real name and the same USA account on PSN store (real details of course on Entropay) and it was instant at working. Bought the Boston 6 pack and the other trippy 60s group (heroin train whittering on one song but its good lol) and of course the Monkees. It says I have 102 tracks now so not bad going and they all seem fantastic.

This is kinda messed up. I had an available balance of £6. I've gone onto the US psn and added $5 to the wallet. so now it's left with £0.45 on my entro pay card. wtf?

so much for the £1 = $2

all i wanna do is get the call of duty 4 map pack. it's $9.99 so if i add another $5, it's gonna be another £5.55 from entropay... so that's £11.01 for somethin that's $9.99... wtf

Where's te best place to buy PSN Cards from? I don't want to sign up for Entropay or anything like that which leaves me with PSN Cards as my only option to get premium content from the Japanese store.

I get mine from GamePointsNow. They email you the codes and you can get 50p off as a NTSC-UK member by using the voucher code...which I always forget to do.

I've just set up a virtual card on Entropay but when I try to add funds I keep getting an error message.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Edit: Got another question to ask. I've put my legit uk address down, will I be able to buy on the usa store with these details?

Just setup a Entropay account today and im useing it with my Maestro card but when i go to load funds says the sytem has caused an error and your transfer fail,d....gutted anyone else get this problem as im desperate to get some new tunes for RB.

I've only been able to add funds from credit cards, it all ways fails from my maestro card.

I'd have look online for some US PSN cards, I'm sure they're available now (Can anyone recommend anywhere?). If you can find someone that will email you the code it should be nice and quick anyway.

Can only echo what 45 as already said desperate here to get some US PSN network cards also so if anyone can point us in the right direction be much apreciated.
